Submissions
How to Submit:
Click here for a link to the Google Forms! You can fill out all the questions (your name, what genre you’re submitting to, etc.). You’ll also be asked to create a short bio;. This will accompany your piece in the magazine. It isn’t required, just recommended. Finally, at the bottom of the form, you can attach a PDF, DOC, or DOCX with your piece! You can submit to as many genres as many times as you’d like.
General Rules:
- You must be 18 or older to submit to Ghost Light NY
- We do not accept work published elsewhere.
- We will not accept pieces that are racist, transphobic, or in any way hateful.
- We will not accept work that has been AI-generated.
- We will allow simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your work is accepted by another publication so we can remove it from our consideration.

Fiction Submissions:

- 12-point Times New Roman or similar font
- Double spaced
- Numbered pages
- Under 8,000 words
- Submitted as a PDF, DOC or DOCX
- Includes the story title, as well as the author’s name/pen name
- It’s an original piece!
Nonfiction Submissions:

- Double spaced

- Under 8,000 words
