Lee Daubaras

Lee Daubaras is an aspiring poet, budding novelist, and multi-instrumentalist founder of gothic-metal bands Qethaladüm and Egretta. Majoring in Psychology at SUNY Purchase, Lee spends a vast majority of his time writing music under these monikers, while also operating the family-run record label "Duskmeadow Recordings," where auditory accompaniments to written works are developed. Though writing stays a passion project, Lee hopes to someday publish a series of larger fantasy works in line with his forefather inspirations such as Michael Moorcock's "The Elric Saga."

An oaken arrangement, centuries long and stained;

Waking from ever-black grip to the watchful eyes of home.

Merry: as it could, but may not deserve to be,

The jaded sun shines through the window of a fleeting heart divine.

Bound to cups that drink the soul from their slacked lips,

Limbo – until the final evening drop is spent on reminisce.
